The miracle of language (FLA,SLA, behaviourism, and the importance of repetition.

The miracle of language
It is to have a conscious about what kind of learning we can assimilate quickly in the way of subconsciously or in a learning way. We have born with the capacity to learn a foreign language to be perpetrated and have the possibility to transmit our knowledge to young learners. There are two ways to have knowledge abbot languages:
Language acquisition.
Subconscious process
Without formal instruction
Massive exposure
Age limited: 6 years comprised until puberty
No or very low level of abstraction
Spontaneous capabilities
Language learning.
Conscious process
Formal instruction limited exposure to the language.
Age limited; puberty and on
Higher level of abstraction
Studial capabilities
Behaviorism theory
The worldview of behaviorism is what a learner assumes assentialy passive, responding to environmental stimuli. Behavior is shaped through positive reinforcement or negative reinforcement. Both increase the probability  that the antecedent behavior could happen again.  Learning is defined as a change in behavior in the  learners.
The behaviorism is built by the result of the condition:
Stimulus         Response            Reinforcement.
Through the time have been psychologist that demonstrated with any experiment that work of behaviorism in which  have reported the results of an experiment, they have carried out with a young boy in which they wanted to proved his behavior with various intervals animals over his age of three months until nine months, this gay showed fear when confronted with the animals even when the noise was not made, and even shoed unease a fur coat was put in from of him pleased with their progress, the scientist then proposed to continue their experiment by turning the young baby’s  fear back to pleasure, but they were unable to do so because unsurprisingly. Thus, Watson and Reynors wanted to show.

Learning is the way in which people need manipulation by other who introduce a new knowledge effectible. Most learning is not the result of instruction. It is rather the result of unhampered participation in a meaningful setting.
Focus on form or focus  on form theory.
Focus on form:
Task-based language teaching
Incidental and opportunistic
Noticing
Focus on forms theory:
Course books (open mind, new American framework)
Language syllabus
the importance of repetition:
Repetition drills: This techniques is still used by teachers in which se/he  teaches some topics introducing new language items to their students. The teacher says the word or phrase and the students repeat it.
Repetition of encounters: of the language with lapses between instruction.
Deductive method vs. Inductive method
Deductive method: to have a direct instruction is necessary that the teacher transmit what she wants students learn directly, she has to show what she wants to teach. The deductive method is often criticized because:
A. It teaches grammar is an isolated way
B. Little attention is paid to meaning
C. Practice if often mechanical
Inductive method: Instead of explaining a concept and following explanation with examples, the teacher presents students with many examples showing how the concept is used. The intent is for students to notice by way of the examples.
The teacher could decide which method is the best best to use with the students, bur both are important the deductive is more predictable so the teacher selects the imformation and the secuences of representation, an d the inductive is to introduce with the help of learning  so is more predictable and preparate, faster and can be efficient way to teach large numbers of facts and concrete concepts but inductive method is important too because it gives new knowledge.
